| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in a rich multicolour scheme of dark navy, gold, red, and blue. A dark header band carries the title in Gothic Fraktur script, flanked below by a horizontal red rule above which the denomination legend runs in letterpress. The central vignette, signed by Heinz Schiestl, presents the city arms of Naumburg — a crossed key and sword in red — within an ornate circular guilloche cartouche surmounted by elaborate acanthus scrollwork in gold; symmetrical blue foliate panels bearing oval denomination numerals '25' in blue on a grey guilloche ground flank the arms on either side. The lower panel carries the validity clause in Fraktur script with a manuscript signature of the Magistrat and a typeset serial number at lower left. |
