| 正面描述 | The upper portion of the note is divided into three panels: at left, a circular guilloche underprint bearing the denomination numeral '25' with the legend 'FÜNFUNDZWANZIG PFENNIG' around the circumference; at centre, a detailed letterpress vignette of the Kuhtor (Cow Gate), a historic town gate of Orsoy, captioned 'Kuhtor' above the arch; at right, the circular town seal of Orsoy bearing the Latin legend 'SIGILLUM OPPIDI ORSOYENSIS' with a heraldic device of three horse heads above a castle. The lower section carries a two-line redemption text in Gothic script, the issuing date 'Orsoy, den 1.5.1921', the Bürgermeister's manuscript signature, the series designation 'SERIE A', and a red serial number. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse is dominated by a large, finely engraved panoramic vignette of Orsoy am Niederrhein as seen from the Rhine, with church spires and townscape along the far bank and a paddle steamer accompanied by a sailing vessel in the foreground waters. Denomination numerals '25' appear in bold type in the upper left and upper right corners. A scroll cartouche at the lower centre carries the inscription 'STADT ORSOY AM NIEDERRHEIN' with the founding year '1347' below, and the printer's imprint 'Carl Schleicher & Schüll Düren' appears in small type at the foot of the note. |

| 备注 |
Orsoy is a small Rhine town absorbed into Rheinberg in 1975, and by 1921 it had no serious economic weight — which makes its decision to issue emergency currency more administrative necessity than ambition. The postwar Weimar inflation had already begun fracturing the small-denomination coinage supply, forcing hundreds of German municipalities to print their own Notgeld to keep local trade functional.
Carl Schleicher & Schüll in Düren were among the more prolific Notgeld printers of the period, handling output for numerous Rhineland municipalities simultaneously. The reference suffix variants (.1a-2/3) suggest at least minor plate or printing differences within this issue.
