Obverse description The obverse is printed in black and red on cream paper in a bold Art Nouveau woodcut style. The central vignette presents the heraldic shield of Bad Lippspringe — a red field charged with three white crosses — surmounted by a stylised bird's head with crescent ornaments, flanked symmetrically by two circular guilloche cartouches each bearing the numeral '25'. A ribbon banner across the upper centre carries the denomination inscription in red Gothic script, while the issuer's name appears in large blackletter across the top panel. The lower panel bears the place name, date '28. Mai 1921', and a facsimile mayoral signature, accompanied by a disclaimer clause in Gothic script.

Reverse description The reverse is executed in the same bold black and red woodcut manner on cream paper, with the denomination numeral '25' repeated in each corner within decorative black frames. The central vignette, signed by the artist Jos. Dominicus, renders a dynamic rural scene of a farmer driving a horse-drawn cart at pace, set against a dramatic landscape background. Above the vignette a scrolled ribbon banner carries the inscription 'Wald-Naturtheater' alongside a vignette of a classical portico building, referencing the local open-air theatre. The lower margin bears the place name 'Bad Lippspringe' in ornate red blackletter, with the printer's imprint 'DRUCK · GEBRÜDER JÄNECKE · HANNOVER' in the bottom margin below the frame.
