| 正面描述 | The obverse is printed in dark blue, red, and green on a light ground, with diagonal red and blue stripes forming the background underprint. To the left, the municipal arms of Freiburg in Schlesien — a crowned shield bearing a tower flanked by stars — are set within an ornate cartouche, below which the denomination numeral "25" appears in bold. To the right, a dark silhouette vignette of the city's church tower and adjoining roofline rises against the striped ground, accompanied by the text of the voucher, issue date, validity clause, and a facsimile magistrate signature. |

Freiburg in Schlesien — not to be confused with the better-known Baden city — issued this Notgeld note during the peak years of Germany's small-change crisis, when coin hoarding and metal shortages had stripped low-denomination currency from everyday commerce. Municipal authorities across Silesia were effectively forced to print their own fractional money, and the Magistrat here was no exception.
Lower Silesian Notgeld from this period was predominantly short-lived; most series were recalled once Reichsbank policy and the broader inflation dynamic made small-denomination paper equally pointless by late 1922 and 1923.
