| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is set against a fine guilloche underprint in blue-grey, with a bold red banner at the top bearing the inscription NOTGELD in white letters, flanked on each side by black-bordered red corner cartouches with the denomination numeral 25 and the abbreviation PF. The central vignette presents the heraldic arms of Pasewalk — a quartered blue and white shield charged with three red griffins — suspended within an ornate scrolling ribbon cartouche. Below the coat of arms, the place and date of issue, a redemption clause, and the magistrate's authority line with a manuscript signature are printed in letterpress, with the printer's imprint along the bottom margin. |

| Opmerkingen |
Pasewalk notgeld from the 1921 inflationary period, issued by the town magistrate rather than any banking authority — a purely municipal instrument born of small-coin shortage rather than hyperinflation proper, which wouldn't peak until 1923. J. Scheidling was a local printer, and the decision to keep production in-house at Pasewalk rather than outsourcing to the large notgeld printers in Berlin or elsewhere was typical of smaller Pomeranian towns with limited budgets and short expected circulation lives.
The DeNG 1/2 catalog series covers this entire class of second-wave municipal issues with some rigor, but Pasewalk's run remains lightly documented in terms of actual quantities printed.
