| Opis awersu | Printed in gold and grey on white paper, the obverse is framed by a decorative foliate border in gold enclosing three Scherenschnitte (paper-cut silhouette) vignettes by Georg Schleinitz arranged across the centre: the Kyffhäuser Monument at left, the church of Roßla at centre, and a war memorial at right, each captioned in blackletter. The denomination '25' appears in large blackletter numerals to either side of the heading 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Roßla am Kyffhäuser', with the issue date 'Roßla, d. 1. Juli 1921' at lower left and a validity clause with serial number at lower centre. The issuing authority 'der Gemeinde Vorstand' with two facsimile signatures is at lower right, and the printer and artist credits appear along the lower margin. |

| Opis rewersu | Printed in red and grey on white paper, the reverse carries a bold black-and-white silhouette vignette enclosed within a plain red rectangular frame, in which a kneeling female figure at a balustrade gazes upward toward an armoured knight ascending illuminated steps beneath a vaulted arch, with radiating light rays behind him; ravens in flight populate the grey side borders. A two-line poetic inscription in blackletter runs above and below the central vignette, and the artist's signature 'G. Schleinitz' appears within the image at lower left. |
