| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in red and blue on cream paper, with a decorative guilloche border framing the entire face. At centre, a large quartered heraldic coat of arms supported by elaborate acanthus scrollwork is surmounted by a helmeted crest with a red plume; the shield displays lions, a swan, a mounted knight, and a cross motif. The issuer's name appears in bold Gothic lettering across the top, flanked left by the validity and redemption notice dated 21 December 1921, and right by the signature authority text of the Gemeindevorsteher, Pinneberg, 1 September 1921. A Low German motto in Gothic script runs along the lower banner. |
