| Obverse description | Grey-green note with gold foliate underprint border framing three silhouette-style vignettes arranged side by side: at left, the Kyffhäuser Monument; at centre, the Church of Roßla with its tall steeple; at right, a war memorial with a sculptural figure. The denomination '25' appears in large numerals flanking the central vignette, with the issuing legend in Gothic script across the top. Below the vignettes, the place and date 'Roßla, d. 1.
