| 备注 |
Harzgerode is a small town in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt, and this 25 Pfennig note belongs to the vast wave of municipal Notgeld issued across Germany between 1919 and 1922 — a direct consequence of severe coin shortages following the First World War. Hundreds of German municipalities, many far smaller than Harzgerode, commissioned their own emergency small-change notes during this period, and local printers like Louis Koch in nearby Halberstadt were kept busy filling the demand.
The DeNG reference places this within a well-documented series for the issuer, suggesting at least modest collector attention to the type.
