| 备注 |
Strelitz — the older of the two towns that merged in 1919 to form Neustrelitz — issued this note during the height of Germany's Kleingeldnot, the small-change famine that followed the First World War. Hoarding of metal coinage had stripped everyday commerce bare, and hundreds of German municipalities printed their own Notgeld to fill the gap. Most were treated as collectibles almost from the moment of issue, which is why so many survive in near-pristine condition.
Hofbuchdrucker Bohls Nachf. was the court printer operating in Neustrelitz itself — local production for a local crisis.
