| 表面の説明 | Salmon-pink note with a scalloped black border. To the left, a letterpress vignette depicts a pair of figures in traditional Thuringian folk costume — a woman and a man — standing before a townscape background, with a scroll cartouche beneath inscribed 'Melcher u. Marche'. To the right, the denomination numeral '25' appears in large bold Gothic script within a decorative scroll ornament, beneath which 'Pfennig' is set in tall blackletter type, followed by the issuing authority legend and date in blackletter. |

Ronneburg's 1921 Notgeld issue was printed by Kunstanstalt Gerth & Oppenrieder in nearby Gera, a firm that handled a substantial share of Thuringian municipal emergency currency during the postwar inflation spiral. The town — then a quiet Thuringian market center, decades away from becoming infamous for its uranium mining under Soviet administration — issued this note as coin shortages made small-denomination transactions nearly impossible across Germany.
Gerth & Oppenrieder's output was notably consistent in registration quality, which distinguishes Ronneburg's series from the cruder municipal issues of the same period.
