| Reverse description | Purple and brown letterpress reverse within a matching double-ruled border with foliate corner ornaments. A central vignette in brown ink renders the Gothic brick chapel ruin at Markt-Platz Pölitz, flanked by surrounding buildings and dark conifer trees, with the denomination '25 Pfs.' repeated at upper left and right. Curved inscriptions on either side of the vignette read 'RANDOW LIED V. 3' and 'KAPELLE MARKT-PLATZ PÖLITZ'. Below the vignette, five lines of Gothic-script verse text are printed in purple, concluding with the initials 'F.F.H.'; the designer credit 'H SCHUBERT' and printer imprint 'M. BAUCHWITZ, STETTIN' appear in the lower margin. |

Randow was a rural Kreis (district) in Pomerania, surrounding but not including the city of Stettin. Like hundreds of German municipalities between 1919 and 1922, the Kreisausschuss — the district executive committee — issued its own Kleingeldscheine to relieve the chronic shortage of small-denomination coinage that followed the war. The authority to issue was locally assumed rather than formally delegated; the legal basis was always murky, and the Reich periodically attempted to suppress these issues without much effect.
M. Bauchwitz was a Stettin commercial printer, not a specialist security firm, which is worth noting when assessing print quality across the series. Three varieties are documented under this reference.
