| Obverse description | Printed in dark blue on grey paper, the obverse is set within a simple ruled border and rendered entirely in Gothic Fraktur script. The large numeral '25' occupies the centre, flanked to the left by the issuing authority designation 'Nöschenröder Notgeld' and to the right by a verse in Low German dialect. The date 'Meschenroe, an'n 1. April 1921' appears at lower left, with two facsimile signatures at lower right beneath the titles 'De Schulze' and 'De Schöppe'. |
