| 背面描述 | A colour lithographic street vignette signed "Schilling" occupies the upper two-thirds of the reverse, showing a wide cobblestone square with a linden-tree-lined monument at left and a row of gabled townhouses with red-tiled roofs receding along a curved road to the right, beneath a sky with billowing clouds. The denomination "25 Pf." is repeated in large Gothic numerals within ornamental panels at both left and right margins. A four-line German verse in Gothic script fills the lower panel, and the printer's imprint "Walter Ochs & Co., Magdeburg." appears below the frame. |
Walter Ochs & Co., Magdeburg. |

| 备注 |
Calbe an der Saale is a small town in Saxony-Anhalt, and like hundreds of German municipalities in 1921, its Magistrat issued notgeld to plug the chronic small-change shortage that had plagued everyday commerce since the war. The Walter Ochs & Co. firm in Magdeburg handled a substantial volume of regional notgeld work during this period — proximity to issuing towns made logistics straightforward, and the firm's output for surrounding municipalities is well documented in Saxony-Anhalt collections.
The DeNG reference 213.3-1/4 indicates this is one of four variants in the Calbe series, distinguished by serial or color differences rather than denomination changes.
