| Obverse description | The obverse is set within a dark green serrated border and carries the Gothic script header 'Notgeld der Stadt Leobschütz' at the top. A central vignette presents the municipal coat of arms held by a winged angel figure in a flowing robe, the shield quartered with a white lion on red and a key and comb on blue. The denomination '25 Pfennig' appears in large red numerals to either side, with validity date 'Gültig bis 31.12.1921', series designation 'Reihe II', two manuscript signatures above the legend 'Der Magistrat', a serial number, and the anti-counterfeiting notice 'Nachahmung wird bestraft' at the foot. |
