| 背面描述 | The reverse repeats the rose-pink and black colour scheme with matching header and denomination panels. The central panel, printed on a solid black ground, presents a circular medallion reproducing the medieval seal of Meppen dated 'Anno 1261', with a noblewoman on horseback holding a falcon, surrounded by the Latin legend 'SIGILLUM DE MUNDELION DOMINA DE MEPENA ET VECHTA'; flanking text identifies it as 'ALTESTES DAMENSIEGEL DEUTSCHLANDS' and '(ARCHIV STADT MEPPEN)'. Below the medallion a Low German folk couplet is set in a white panel. The lower left corner carries a crowned heraldic arms vignette, and the validity notice repeats in the bottom border. |

| 备注 |
Meppen's 1921 Notgeld issue belongs to the second wave of German municipal emergency currency — by this point the Reichsbank had largely accepted that cities and towns would paper over the chronic small-denomination coin shortage themselves. Hülswitt in Münster was a regional workhorse printer for Westphalian Notgeld, producing issues for dozens of smaller municipalities across the area, which means this note shares press ancestry with a wide range of similarly formatted pieces from the same period.
The hyperinflation that would render all of it worthless was still two years out.
