| 正面描述 | Green Notgeld note printed entirely in green ink, with the denomination '25 Pf.' in large Gothic script at upper left and upper right. A central oval vignette presents a view of a medieval tower and adjacent buildings reflected in water, evoking the historic townscape of Stargard in Mecklenburg. Two cartouches flanking the vignette bear the inscriptions 'Stargard i.M.' and the issue date 'den 1. Januar 1921', with two facsimile signatures appearing below the authority line 'Der Rat'. |

| 备注 |
Stargard in Mecklenburg — not to be confused with Stargard in Pomerania — issued this Notgeld piece during the inflationary spiral that followed Germany's postwar reparations burden. Municipal and civic authorities across Germany printed their own emergency small change in 1921 because coins had effectively vanished from circulation, hoarded or melted as metal values climbed.
Bärensprungsche Hofbuchdruckerei in Schwerin was a well-regarded regional printer with a long record of official work in Mecklenburg, which gave these local issues a degree of technical finish unusual for emergency currency of this type.
