Obverse description The obverse is framed by a red-ruled border with an aphoristic text running along all four margins in Gothic blackletter. At centre, a large heraldic vignette presents the Kitzingen city arms — a merloned tower in blue on a cartouche — flanked symmetrically by two black-ground panels bearing moralistic inscriptions in white letterpress. The denomination 'Fünfundzwanzig Pf.' is rendered in red Gothic script across the upper field, while the issuing authority, date '1. Febr. 1921', a manuscript signature above the title 'rechtsk. Bürgermeister', validity clause, and serial number are set in the lower portion.

Reverse description The reverse carries a central octagonal vignette, bordered by a pearl guilloche, enclosing a vignette of a vintner standing before a large wine barrel dated '1917', with grape clusters at his sides; the composition is set against a red underprint with stylised vine-leaf ornaments filling the corners. The denomination numeral '25' appears in large bold Gothic type at upper left and upper right, with 'Pfennig' below each, while the city arms of Kitzingen and the Bavarian lozenge shield are placed at lower left and lower right respectively. A flowing Gothic-script legend occupies the lower margin, and the designers' names 'HEINZ' and 'SCHIESTL' are inscribed within the central vignette.
