Obverse description Yellow-ground Notgeld issued on 1. Mai 1921, with a decorative border of scrollwork and circular corner medallions each bearing the numeral '25'. The denomination is set in large Gothic blackletter at upper left and right, with the legend 'Gutschein über Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' in bold Fraktur script across the centre. Below, the issuing authority 'Eckartsberga Thür.' is stated alongside the date, with the city seal at centre flanked by facsimile signatures of the Magistrat and the Stadtverordneten.
