| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse is printed on a tan-gold ground and carries the denomination '25 Pfg' in large red Gothic numerals at upper left and right, flanking a central heraldic shield bearing the arms of Wedel surmounted by an armoured knight figure. A bold diagonal banner in red, white, and black ribbon motif crosses the centre, overprinted in black Gothic script with the value inscription 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig'. Below the vignette, a two-line text in German states that the redemption date will be published in the Wedel-Schulauer Zeitung, followed at lower left by the issue place and date 'Wedel / den 10. Juni 1921' and at lower right by the Bürgermeister's manuscript signature, with a serial number printed in red at the bottom left. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed in brown, red, and black on a cream ground and presents a bust-length woodcut-style vignette of Johann Rist at left, framed within a decorative border with ornamental corner devices; the portrait shows the 17th-century Wedel poet and theologian in period costume with a broad lace collar. To the right, a biographical text in German Gothic script identifies him as preacher, hymn-writer, founder of the Elbschwanenorden, and chronicler of the Thirty Years' War (1607–1667), noting that the metal of his memorial bust was surrendered for munitions during the war. The denomination '25 Pfg' appears in large red letterpress numerals at lower right, and the engraver's mark 'O/KURZ' is present at lower left of the portrait frame. |
