背面描述 The reverse presents the same amber-orange wave guilloche underprint as the obverse. The numeral '25' is set within a circular cartouche at the top centre, followed by the denomination 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' in bold Fraktur lettering. A four-line Fraktur text below states the redemption condition — that the note loses validity if not presented for exchange within one month of a public notice in the Kamener Zeitung — with a serial number printed at the foot.

备注

Kamen is a small industrial town in Westphalia, and like hundreds of similar municipalities in 1920, it issued its own Kleingeldscheine to plug the chronic shortage of low-denomination coinage that had persisted since the war years. The Reichsbank simply could not keep up, and local treasury offices — Stadtkassen — stepped in with their own printed scrip, technically on a short-term emergency basis that in practice stretched on for years.

The Grabosch reference K4.4a suggests this falls within a documented sub-variety, likely distinguished by a minor typographic or paper difference from closely related issues in the same series. Kamen's notgeld output was modest compared to larger Westphalian cities, which keeps collector supply tight.
