| Description de l’avers | The obverse is printed on buff paper in dark brown ink and carries the heading inscription across the top. At centre, the circular seal of the Stadt Boppard bears a vignette of the medieval city gate flanked by two towers, with the date 1216 at the top of the roundel. Large hatched numerals '25' appear to the left and right of the seal, each captioned 'PFENNIG' below. The lower portion carries a three-line redemption text in letterpress, dated Boppard, den 31. Dezember 1920, with the manuscript signature of the Bürgermeister at the lower right. |
