| Obverse description | The face is printed in violet-purple on a dense crosshatch guilloche underprint and carries the denomination in Gothic Fraktur script — 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennige' — at the top, followed by the text declaring payment at the Stadthauptkasse der Stadt Aschersleben, validity until 31 März 1922, and the issue date 'Aschersleben, den 5. März 1920'. Below the authority line 'DER MAGISTRAT' appear two manuscript signatures alongside an official circular seal, with a series notation in smaller script at the foot; the imprint 'BUHE' appears at the very bottom margin. |
