Reverse description The reverse carries a tripartite scenic composition within a dotted-rule border. The large central vignette is a detailed engraved panoramic scene of Prussian troops crossing the Schlei at Arnis on 6 February 1864, with infantry columns and figures rendered in fine line work against a winter landscape. To the left is a smaller coloured vignette of the Bismarckturm on the Scheersberg hill, labelled accordingly, and to the right a coloured vignette of the Brodersby windmill. The denomination '25 PFENNIG' appears in bold at the upper centre, flanked by Low German dialect verses, and the caption 'Übergang der Preussen über die Schlei bei Arnis am 6 Februar 1864.' runs along the lower margin; the printer's imprint 'Gebh. & Kunze Flensburg.' appears at the lower right.
