| Obverse description | Notgeld issue of the City of Herrnstadt in Silesia, printed on cream paper with a geometric guilloche underprint in pale mauve. At centre, the municipal coat of arms — a crescent moon surmounted by a church tower between two six-pointed stars, rendered in black and green — is flanked by large green numerals '25' at upper left and upper right. Below the arms, the denomination in German script ('Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig') is followed by the issuing authority inscription and a manuscript facsimile signature; at the foot, the series designation 'Reihe I' appears in red at left with a six-digit serial number in red at right, and the validity clause 'Gültig bis 1 Monat nach Aufforderung' in black. |
