| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black and red-orange on a pale ground, enclosed within an ornate scrollwork border. A fine guilloche underprint in red-orange radiates from the centre, over which the denomination "Fünfundzwanzig Pfennige" is set in large Gothic blackletter script. The issuer's name "Stadt Pößneck" appears at the top, with the numeral 25 repeated in red-orange at each corner, and two manuscript facsimile signatures appear below the authority lines "Der Magistrat" and "Der Gemeinderat". |
