A diamond-shaped vignette at centre contains a detailed engraved panoramic view of the Frankfurt cityscape as seen from the River Main, with the old bridge (Alte Brücke) in the foreground and the spires of the cathedral and churches rising above the roofline. The denomination 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' is set in large blackletter type across the upper portion, with the numeral '25' repeated at the left margin and in the lower corners, and the printer's imprint along the lower edge. |
