Obverse description The obverse carries a central vignette of the Alfeld civic coat of arms, rendered as a crowned shield flanked by two heraldic lions rampant, printed in dark brown on a tan ground within a decorative scalloped border. The denomination numeral '25' appears in the upper left and upper right corners, with a handwritten serial number above the central vignette. Below the arms, a multi-line Gothic script text block states the redemption conditions and the date 18.6.1919, followed by the issuing authority line and two manuscript signatures.

Reverse description The reverse presents a pictorial vignette in brown and violet tones illustrating a dramatic narrative scene: a mounted figure on horseback in combat, set against a backdrop of a Gothic church with twin spires at left, ruins at right, and a standing soldier at the far left margin. The lower portion carries the issuer name in bold Gothic lettering and the denomination spelled out in full. A small artist's signature mark appears in the lower right of the vignette.
