| Obverse description | The cream-ground face is divided into three vertical panels executed in black Gothic letterpress: the outer panels carry the denomination '25 Pf.' and the validity clause at left, with the issuing authority, date '1. Juli 1919', and two manuscript countersignatures of the Kreisausschüsse at right. The central panel is enclosed within an ornate orange decorative border and presents a full-length medieval woodcut-style figure of Saint Boniface in episcopal vestments — mitre and crozier in hand — with the arched legend 'SANCTUS BONIFATIUS' above. The printer's imprint 'DRUCK: A SCHWARZ, LINDENBERG ALLGÄU' runs along the lower margin. |
