Obverse description Yellow-ground Notgeld voucher with a decorative ruled border. A large circular brown underprint vignette at centre shows the multi-turreted town gate of Rinteln, overlaid with the city's Latin seal inscription. Denomination numerals '25' appear in bold black in the upper-left and upper-right corners, with the value spelled out in large Gothic blackletter as 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig.' across the middle register. A two-line patriotic appeal in Fraktur script runs along the top margin, followed by the issuing authority text, date 'Rinteln, 25.
