| Obverse description | Notgeld (emergency currency) voucher printed in black and olive-yellow on plain paper, with an octagonal-cornered rectangular border. To the left, the denomination numeral '25' is set within a guilloche rosette circle, with 'Pfennig' in bold Gothic letterpress to its right, flanked above by wavy-line ornamental bands. A red serial number and asterisk appear in the upper right. To the far right, a vignette in black letterpress depicts the historic Wernigerode town hall with its distinctive twin spires.
