| Obverse description | The upper portion of the note carries a colourful Art Nouveau vignette in which a gallant gentleman in 18th-century court dress bows toward an elegantly attired lady holding a fan, both figures rendered in flat poster-style illustration with green, pink, and orange colouring. Below the figures, the large numeral '25' rises from a deep navy-blue panel on which 'PFENNIG' is lettered in bold decorative type. The blue panel further bears two lines of Low German dialect verse, validity text, and the issuing authority inscription, completed by a manuscript signature. |
