| Obverse description | Printed in purple-violet on pale paper entirely in Fraktur blackletter script, the obverse is framed within a decorative ruled border with ornamental corner devices incorporating Iron Cross motifs. The denomination "Fünfundzwanzig Pfg." is set in large bold Fraktur across the upper centre, flanked on each side by the numeral "25" and the abbreviation "Pfg.". A pale underprint of the heraldic arms of Düsseldorf occupies the central field, around which the acceptance clause, issuing authority, and date of 20 March 1917 are letterpress-printed, with a manuscript signature appearing below the authorization text. |
