Beschrijving voorzijde Central vignette presents a street-level view through an arched gateway toward a Gothic church tower, rendered in fine line illustration with orange-tinted underprint on the denomination numerals. The value "25 PF." appears in large orange letterpress figures at left and right flanking the vignette. A Low German dialect proverb runs across the upper margin in blackletter script, and the lower panel carries the validity clause and the issuing authority's name with two manuscript signatures.

Opmerkingen

Neubrandenburg's municipal council issued this Notgeld note during the post-WWI emergency currency period, when the collapse of normal coin production left German towns scrambling to cover small-denomination transactions. Municipal issues at the 25 Pfennig level were among the most practically necessary — silver and base-metal coinage in that range had effectively vanished from circulation, hoarded or melted down years before the armistice.

The Grabowski-Mehl reference places this among the documented series for Mecklenburg. Town-issued Notgeld of this period was printed in enormous variety but often in short runs, with quality varying sharply between printers.
