| 备注 |
Begur is a small coastal town in the Girona province of Catalonia, and like hundreds of Spanish municipalities during the Civil War, it issued its own emergency scrip when the Republican government's coin supply collapsed after 1936. The Cooperativa Bagurense — a local cooperative rather than any municipal authority — was one of the more unusual issuers in the region, putting its name to fractional and low-denomination notes that substituted for vanished metallic currency in everyday transactions among its membership and, almost certainly, the wider local population.
AL#1999 is the Allepuz catalog reference, the standard Spanish Civil War local issues classification. Notes from small Catalan cooperatives in this denomination survive in very limited numbers.
