| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, rendered in the second definitive portrait modelled by Arnold Machin, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. The bust is draped and truncated at the shoulder. The encircling legend reads QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND with the jubilee dates 1952-1977 denoting the Silver Jubilee of her reign. The portrait is executed in a refined relief characteristic of Machin's medallic style. |

| Reverse description | A scenic harbour view of Gorey on the island's east coast, depicting sailing vessels moored in the foreground waters and the imposing medieval fortress of Mont Orgueil Castle rising prominently on the rocky hillside in the background. The composition is rendered in a detailed pictorial style typical of commemorative crown-sized issues of the period. The upper legend reads BAILIWICK OF JERSEY and the denomination TWENTY FIVE PENCE is inscribed along the lower periphery. The design was engraved by Bernard Sindall. |
