Obverse description The Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, is depicted at the top center of the field, with the motto 'Satyameva Jayate' inscribed in Devanagari script beneath it. The large numeral '25' dominates the lower center of the field, flanked on the left by the Devanagari legend 'भारत' and the denomination 'पैसे' in smaller script, and on the right by the Latin legends 'INDIA' and 'PAISE', all arranged along the coin's periphery. The design presents a bold, modern graphic style characteristic of post-decimalization Indian coinage.
