Reverse description Neptune, nude, seated to right upon a rocky outcrop, his weight supported on a long trident held vertically at his side. The figure is depicted in a relaxed pose with drapery beneath him, rendered in the compact, somewhat schematic style characteristic of Roman colonial bronze issues of the late Republican period. The magistrates' names appear in the field and exergue as the reverse legend.
