| Beschrijving voorzijde | Grey letterpress print on white paper. An ornate rectangular border frames the note, with the denomination numeral '25' repeated in each corner and along the lateral margins. The centre carries the promissory text above the value '25 Øre' in bold cross-shaped guilloche lettering, with a dolphin vignette beneath; the Greenlandic coat of arms appears in cartouches flanking the central vignette on each side. A stamped serial number is positioned along the lower margin. |

| Opmerkingen |
Handelsstederne i Grønland operated as a state trading monopoly, and these small-denomination notes functioned as a closed-currency system — scrip redeemable only within the Danish colonial trading posts, not convertible to krone or any outside currency. The Type II designation marks a mechanical advancement over the earlier handwritten serials: numbers were stamped rather than inscribed by clerks, a change that accompanied growing transaction volume in the settlements.
The monopoly structure meant these notes circulated in extreme isolation. A Greenlandic hunter receiving one had nowhere to spend it except back at the same post that issued it.
