Obverse description The obverse features the Swedish national coat of arms — a crowned shield bearing three open crowns arranged two over one — centrally positioned in the field. The date is split to either side of the shield, with '19' at the left and '18' at the right. The country name 'SVERIGE' is inscribed along the lower portion of the field in bold capital letters. The design is framed by a reeded border running along the full circumference of the coin. The overall style is austere and heraldic, consistent with wartime pattern coinage intended to replace silver with base metal.
