| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the large interlaced cursive royal cypher of Frederik IX — the letter 'F' entwined with 'R' and surmounted by the numeral 'IX' at the base — all beneath a detailed royal crown rendered in high relief. The four-digit date is split by the crown, with '19' appearing to the left and the final two digits to the right. The mint mark and engraver's initials (C♥S) appear in small characters below the monogram near the rim. |
