| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in blue and dark brown on a cream wavy-pattern underprint. The central rectangular vignette shows three male workers in Expressionist style striding forward in solidarity, one carrying a saw, another a hammer, with a miners' crossed-hammer symbol to the right; flanking circular medallions on either side bear stylised '25 Mark' numerals. Decorative ribbon banners bearing a verse in Gothic script radiate from the corners and edges, and a printer's imprint appears in the lower margin. |
