| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Lesotho occupies the central field, depicting a crocodile upon a traditional Basotho shield, flanked by two rearing horses as supporters. Above the shield, crossed weapons are depicted as a crest. A scroll below the shield bears the motto KHOTSO PULA NALA in raised lettering.
