| Obverse description | Trial proof in an incomplete state, with large unprinted areas revealing the underlying paper. The central field carries Arabic text naming the bank and denomination, with the bilingual overprint "SYRIE 1939" in Latin script. The numeral "25" appears in cartouches at left and right, flanked by ornate geometric and arabesque border panels in multicolour. Two manuscript signatures appear at lower left beneath their respective title inscriptions in Arabic. |
