Obverse description Portrait vignette of King Vittorio Emanuele III in military uniform occupies the left portion of the note, set within an intricately engraved guilloche frame. The central field carries the denomination legend in large intaglio lettering, with the state title REGNO D'ITALIA arched above, all set against a fine orange and blue guilloche underprint. A large circular watermark window is reserved at right, flanked by ornate foliate border work; two signature lines with printed role designations appear below the central text panel.

Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a large central guilloche medallion bearing the numeral 25 in bold intaglio figures, surrounded by concentric lathe-work patterns and the denomination written out in a circular legend. To the right, a heraldic eagle vignette is set within an ornate panel with foliate scrollwork. A blank oval panel occupies the upper left, corresponding to the watermark zone, and the legislative decree reference and date appear in cartouche banners at top and bottom.
