Reverse description Three horizontal registers of Devanagari script arranged across the coin's field, separated by ruling lines characteristic of Kutch princely coinage. The uppermost register bears the royal epithet, the central register records the ruler's name Desalji, and the lower register contains the Samvat date 1915 (corresponding to 1859 AD), accompanied by a khanjar (dagger) privy mark positioned to the right of the legend. The inscription and mark together serve as the primary authentication and dating device for this gold issue.
