正面描述 The obverse is printed in grey underprint with red and black letterpress overprint, enclosed within a dashed rectangular border. Large red numeral '25' appears at left and right flanking a central text block, with a decorative grey vignette bearing the municipality name 'PUPPING' in pearl-dot lettering at the top and 'OBERÖST.' at the bottom. The central inscription in black gothic and roman type reads the redemption clause of the Gutschein.

背面描述 The reverse carries a full-face woodcut-style vignette in dark brown-black ink on cream paper, portraying the ruins of Schaumburg Castle with a stone arched gateway framed by dense foliage and a wooden drawbridge structure in the foreground. A thin rectangular border frames the composition, and the castle's name appears in decorative black-letter script at the lower margin. An artist's signature is visible in the upper right corner of the vignette.

备注

Pupping is a small market commune in Upper Austria, and like hundreds of similarly sized municipalities, it resorted to issuing its own emergency paper money — Notgeld — during and after the First World War when metal coinage all but vanished from everyday commerce. The Ortsgemeinde (local commune) was the issuing authority, not a bank or savings institution, which places this squarely in the hyperlocal tier of Austrian Notgeld — the kind printed in tiny runs for purely practical use within a single village economy.

The Jaksc/Pick reference suffix "IIe" indicates a specific variant within the series, likely distinguished by a paper type, printing color, or serial numbering difference from otherwise identical denominations.
