Obverse description Brown intaglio print on orange paper, with an elaborate guilloche border framing the central text area. The denomination numeral "25" appears in a large ornate cartouche at the left, flanked by intricate arabesque corner pieces with the bank monogram "NBA"; two solid five-pointed star perforations are punched centrally left and right as a cancellation device. The issuer's name arches across the top of the central panel above the bearer clause and denomination in large letterpress text, with the date "Amsterdam, 1 October 1914" and signature lines for the Secretary and President printed below.

Reverse description Brown intaglio print on orange paper, with a dense all-over guilloche underprint covering the entire field. A broad ornamental border of repeating floral and lace-like guilloche rosettes surrounds the central panel, within which the denomination text is rendered in large mirror-image guilloche letterforms as an anti-counterfeiting measure; a central elaborate rosette vignette anchors the composition. Two solid five-pointed star perforations appear symmetrically in the lower half, and columns of small-print legal text in Dutch are set vertically along both side margins.
Reverse lettering VIJF EN TWINTIG GULDEN
(Translation: Twenty Five Gulden)
