备注

The Netherlands emerged from German occupation in 1945 with its pre-war banknote stock deeply compromised — the occupying authorities had gained access to genuine currency, forcing a full demonetization in September 1945. This 1947 series was part of the postwar reconstruction of Dutch paper money supply, issued under tight fiscal controls as the country worked through the Marshall Plan period and the financial strain of the Indonesian independence crisis simultaneously.

Roozendaal was one of Enschedé's most accomplished in-house designers, and the firm itself had been printing Dutch banknotes for over two centuries by this point — a continuity interrupted but not broken by the occupation years.
