| 表面の説明 | The face is engraved in a dense ornamental style, framed by an elaborate scrollwork border with denomination numeral 25 in each corner within guilloche cartouches. The bank title "De Javasche Bank" appears in Gothic blackletter script at the top, followed by the bearer clause and the denomination "VIJF EN TWINTIG GULDEN" in bold decorative lettering. At the lower centre, a vignette presents a recumbent lion beside the Dutch colonial arms, surrounded by symbols of trade and industry, with spaces for manuscript signatures of the Secretary and President. |

| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is printed in blue and red, centred on a large cruciform guilloche composition of five interlocking oval medallions, the central oval bearing the inscription "JAVASCHE BANK" and the numeral 25 appearing in the four surrounding ovals. Four red-printed text panels are placed in the corners, each containing anti-counterfeiting penalty notices in a different language: Dutch (upper left), Javanese script (lower left), Arabic (upper right), and Chinese characters (lower right). |
